Dr. Nuki Agya Utama is the Head of the Asia Zero Emission Center (AZE Center) at ERIA, where he played a pivotal role as Executive Director of Asean Centre for Energy, targeting a 32% reduction in energy intensity and a 23% share of renewable energy in ASEAN by 2025. He has spearheaded multi-million-dollar collaborations with global partners like GCF, USAID, and the World Bank. His advisory roles include APERC, the World Economic Forum, and UN ESCAP. With a PhD in Environment and Energy Technology, Dr. Utama’s expertise spans life cycle energy analysis, renewable energy, and sustainable building design. He has also served in leadership roles at NIKE Inc. and Surya University, and as a post-doctoral fellow at Kyoto University. His work is widely recognized through his active contributions to international journals and conferences.
