Gilles Burgat

Gilles Burgat is General Manager for Lufthansa Group in Singapore, Malaysia, and Brunei, representing Lufthansa German Airlines & Swiss International Air Lines, operating 20 weekly non-stop flights from Singapore to Europe. Gilles is an aviation professional with extensive experience in fleet development, commercial strategy, and international sales. In his current role, he oversees commercial operations and strategic partnerships across Singapore, Malaysia and Brunei. Gilles also serves as Co-Chair of the Aviation & Transport Committee of The European Chamber of Commerce in Singapore. He is actively involved in driving Lufthansa Group’s sustainability agenda in the region, including the promotion of Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) products. Lufthansa was the first airline to use SAF in commercial operations and is one of the largest purchasers of SAF in Europe. Having recently launched its leading Green Fare product, Lufthansa Group is actively driving the aviation industry’s transition to net-zero.
